Household Flow turns your pay into real take-home, sets it against your bills, and shows what is left each month. Then it stress-tests the month: what if housing costs rise, prices go up, pay falls or an income stops?
Your numbers stay on your device. Nothing you type into the tool is uploaded.
Salary is quoted before tax and bills are quoted monthly. Putting them on 1 scale, then asking what happens if housing, prices or pay change, is the hard part.
Change the salary and the bills to see what is left. The stress tests are in the full tool: housing up, prices up, pay down or an income lost. Rules for 2026/27. Nothing you move here leaves your device.
Put in pay and pension. The tool works out tax, National Insurance, student loan and Child Benefit for you, so you start from the real figure.
Set it against your rent or mortgage, bills, food, childcare and debts, and see what is left after the month.
A clear split of every pound across your costs, with must-pay costs shown apart from flexible ones.
See the month if housing costs rise, prices go up 10%, pay falls or an income stops, all in 1 table.
Slide the changes yourself and see the effect on the month straight away, including how long your savings would cover a gap.
See the working behind each figure, what share of every £1 each cost takes, how many months your savings cover, and the rules and dates that matter.
See what a mortgage rate change does to the monthly payment, and how long a debt takes to clear at different payments.
See the point where your must-pay costs stop being covered, as a share of your pay today.

Households in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, with 1 or 2 incomes from employment, with or without children. It covers pay, workplace pensions, student loans and Child Benefit, and your own monthly costs.
Not for Scottish taxpayers. Not covered: self-employment, rental or savings income, Universal Credit and other benefits, sick or redundancy pay, employer pension contributions and free childcare. The stress test shows what the sums do when something changes. It is not a forecast and does not say what to do.
How accurate is it? It uses the UK tax rules published up to the date shown in the tool, checked against official sources and separate calculations. No calculator is 100% accurate, rules can change at a Budget, and results depend on the figures you enter. It is general information, not advice.
